MIAMI, Nov. 29, — 2016 Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio and Santa Margherita Chianti Classico Riserva were just named America’s Most Recommended Italian White Wine and America’s Most Recommended Italian Red Wine, respectively, by the Women’s Choice Awards. This recognition, encompassing the 2017-2018 year, is a prestigious honor presented by WomenCertified, an independent marketing research firm founded by the former publisher of Working Mother and Working Woman magazines.

The Women’s Choice Awards were created to recognize products and services nationally based on the unbiased ratings and preferences of women. This award sets the standard for helping women to make smarter purchasing choices. These awards identify the brands, products and services that are most recommended and trusted by women. Additionally, they recognize those that deliver a recommendation-worthy customer experience.

Awards are based on surveys of approximately 300,000 women, as well as research conducted in partnership with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. These surveys are created using data from national retailers; input from C-level executives from national food and beverage brands; consumer research and industry publications.

Respondents are not compensated in any way to take the survey. Brands that earn this award were voted as #1 among other brands in their category. The awards to not account for factors such as company revenue, annual sales, distribution, company size or other aspects.
