MIAMI, July 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Santa Margherita Wine Group is pleased to announce that the Santa Margherita brand will be imported and marketed in the United States through its wholly owned subsidiary SM USA Inc. effective January 1, 2016.

Established as one of the most recognizable brands throughout the world, synonymous with ultrapremium quality, Italian lifestyle and innovation, Santa Margherita will transition to SM USA Inc. from Terlato Wines International.

SM USA Inc., headquartered in Miami, is comprised of industry veterans led by Vincent Chiaramonte, SM USA Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer. Through its standout leadership team, SM USA Inc. will invest significant resources to continue the education and promotion of ultra-premium wines in the United States, highlighting Santa Margherita as well as current portfolio offerings: Torresella, Kettmeir, Lamole di Lamole, Sassoregale, Feudo Zirtari, and Fattoria Sardi.

Import and commercial activities of the Santa Margherita brand will continue to be exclusively managed by Terlato Wines International until the close of December 2015. Effective January 1, 2016, SM USA Inc. will add the Santa Margherita brand to its portfolio.
